PassCount AI sensors are also capable of monitoring in-real time people movements in a factory, a shop, or customer service. We call it hotspot monitoring. We can represent data in many ways, like heat maps, or via statistical data. This technology gives a good indication about individuals activities and actions, therefore it can be considered also as behavior analytic tool via dwelling time analysis. This product is recommended to be used where high versatility of consumer products are in selling, like home appliances, mobile handsets, electronic appliances, shoes, clothes, etc. Similarly we can monitor workers at factories.

Two technologies

PassCount_AI
Sensory solution

PassCount AI based solution, where the observed area is depending on Field of View of sensors and mounting height.

UWB transceiver based solution

The deployment of UWB based transceiver mesh makes possible 10 cm accurate in-door localization services within buildings, shops, factories or warehouses.

Why localization matters?

It is manifold: first of all, it is an indication of interest of shoppers, which products are the hottest, which order is followed when visiting products on the shelves. How product prices effects order, etc. Second, in factories this technology is a good tool to guarantee safety measures and same time to use it as tool of enforcement by keeping working discipline. Think about night and weekend shifts.
Incredible quick ROI

The cost of one employee is at least 2-3 times more than the cost of a hotspot monitoring sensor, therefore if only one person can be saved then ROI is only weeks.

100% performance guarantee

Fail-safe operations due to industrial grade electronic components. Earlier versions of our hotspot monitoring sensors are already proven in a toy shop network in Hungary.

Hands on tool in automation

If you know where the shoppers are, then personnel can be allocated where real demands are.

frequently asked question

Does it meet GDPR regulations?

In case of PassCount AI sensors no images are stored, only processed data are presented (bit information’s). In case of UWB tags, if tag is used for example to track objects, like shopping basket, cart or forklift, or robot then obviously no violation of regulations. In case tags are used with persons then if person is not named or makes a written confirmation then no violation of rules either.

How quick sensors are installed?

Depends on product, but normally for PassCount AI sensors only 24 V DC power supply is needed, while UWB tags and transceivers are battery powered.

How about Back End?

We use digitized floor maps. In the case of shops we also name the exact location of products. In logistics shelves locations are also fixed, similar to factories where for example location of CNC machines is fixed in the digital floor maps.
